About the Trailer Tugger

The inspiration for the Trailer Tugger struck when our founder Joe was launching his boat at the local public slipway and realised just how difficult it is to safely manoeuvre a heavily laden trailer by hand.

What began as a personal project has since evolved into a fully-fledged product.

Trailer Tugger is a handlebar type device fitted to the front frame rail of any trailer to make manoeuvring more manageable.

The Trailer Tugger is now available for customers and can be fitted to any trailer subject to the installation considerations below. Please read these carefully before you visit our Shop.

You can email us on sales@trailertugger.com with any questions or queries.

Installation Considerations

1. The Trailer Tugger attaches to the front frame rail of your trailer. Ensure there is at least a 150mm space on the front frame rail to fit the baseplate

2. The slotted baseplate allows easy fitment to the front frame rail of your trailer using 10mm diameter square C-bolts, which you can purchase from the Shop in a range of sizes.

3. Measure the width of your front frame rail to find the right size square C-bolt.

The baseplate will fit frame rails of a width between 50mm and 75mm.

Alternatively, there are two 10mm mounting holes should you wish to drill holes in your frame rail and use M10 bolts to secure the baseplate.
